An old view of Seagull Nebula, IC 2177, taken at the mid night of 30 December 2002 when CCD astrophotography was not popular in XianLong. The photo was taken by a 180mm F2.8 lens at F2.8 with Kodak E200 positive film. The exposure time was 44 minutes. Sure, in one shoot guided by FS60C with an eye piece of LG 3 (no auto guiding) and EM10 mount. The positive film image was digitalized by a film scanner and processed in PS with only curve and sharpening. Also in the view of the photo are M50, NGC2353 and 2359. All information are coming from star charts on paper. |
