[胡言亂語] Sony A7R2 with Terns
The Sony A6500 performed well in taking pictures of the very fast moving terns as it is designed for that purpose with high speed autofocus and 10 frame per second frame rate. The high buffer for outputting data to memory card is also excellent. It could store up to nearly 100 frames before it stops to respond to my click on the shutter button.
A7R2 is different. A technology of a few years ago with its very high pixel numbers, it is not designed for capturing fast moving objects. Worst of all, the buffer for storing images is small. In continuous shooting mood, the shutter would be locked just after 4 or 5 shoots . This sometimes creates problem even when shooting models in the car show in June. However, the very high pixel numbers may deliver the very fine details of the terns although actually, terns lack colourful details of other birds.
So, I had a try out yesterday in Sai Kung and here below are the answers returned by the terns:
