Saw 2 of them this morning in Lung Mei, very lovely little creature and proved very intelligent.

Recent months I'm total intoxicated by those tiny coastal creatures, if we will have more chance to watch them more closely we'll find their beautiful patterns, different from the butterflies but the same thrill and excitement when finding them.

When disturbed they will try to swim away or simple hide themself in the sand bottom.

Thanks for the sharing, it is so beautiful!!!!  The color is so magical feel.
It is so close to the shore???!!!  Did you water boot when taking those pictures?

Lung Mei is located right beside to Tai Mei Tuk's BBQ site, it's a very tiny sand/mud beach which is scheduled to be 'transform' to a artificial dirty watered beach a year later.
Before setting off to shoot the creature there we'll first check the tidal chart from net and it happened usually at after mid night hours at recent days, despite even at low tide time we'll need waterproof boots still because we'll step into some water pools to find the creatures there.
May be we can hold a party there to watch the pretty creatures later.
